我目前在滑铁卢大学实习担任 Instructional Support Assistant (ISA) 辅助教授、协调 TA 并参与 CS 课程的教学工作。在此之前我在浙江大学 (ZJU) 担任过「科研助理」(Research Assistant, Co-op),主要学习和研究的方向为隐私计算与应用密码学。我本科就读于加拿大滑铁卢大学 (University of Waterloo),数学专业 (Combinatorics and Optimization),with a minor in Computing, Co-op 项目。

👀 LookAhead

A new direction for detecting DeFi attacks that focuses on identifying adversarial contracts instead of adversarial transactions.

Our paper →

  • A comprehensive dataset of adversarial and benign smart contracts with a variety of features pre-extracted, pre-processed and attached to each item.
  • A custom designed smart contract bytecode lifting and analysis pipeline with integrated semantic tokenization protocol that is able to efficiently extract and generate features and PSCFT for transformer and classifier training and fine-tuning.
  • An ML-based system consisting of two open-weights classifiers and one meta classifier model that is pre-trained, fine-tunable, and capable of conducting accurate and just-in-time detection of potential adversarial attacks, even when private adversarial transactions are employed by attackers.
  • The implementation and a detailed evaluation as well as performance analysis of LookAhead's detection system and methods.

  • We propose an amortized-friendly matrix multiplication algorithm, which achieves a 1.6-3.3x speedup and saves 60% communication overhead compared to SOTA techniques.
  • We present a novel Argmax algorithm that reduces the computational complexity from O(m) in Phoenix (CCS'22) to O(logm), achieving a 55.6x speedup (m is the number of labels, m = 30522 in BERT-base).
  • We provide an end-to-end implementation and evaluation of results. NEXUS outperforms BOLT (Oakland'24) by over an order of magnitude and is 1.8x faster, 2.4x cheaper than Bumblebee (NDSS'25).
  • We also provide a GPU accelerated version of our work, which further improves the inference speed by 42.3x and reduces financial cost by 17.2x to a per-token price of only $0.05.

I am interested in both the theoretical and applied aspects of cryptography and its applications throughout and beyond computing & data sciences. In my previous research experience, I worked on developing and analyzing cryptographic systems and protocols that address issues related to

  • Privacy-preserving computation, and
  • Software security and usability

My most recent research work has put an emphasis on Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) and Privacy-preserving Machine Learning (PPML).
